GenieSummary
The long term campers were extremely friendly and welcoming to the park. The pavilion was the highlight for us, it was the place to relax, eat, play cards, have a fire and watch tv. Lots of wild blackberries, which we enjoyed picking! The campground is an idyllic spot to camp along the Middle Fork Coquille River, under old mossy pines and among beautiful well maintained grounds. There is some highway noise from Oregon 42, which is loud during the day but minimal during the overnight hours. The campground has a wide, shaded, and fairly level site. The water pressure is slightly on the low side but not really a problem. There is also zero over the air TV or radio reception, and Verizon cell signal is so weak that only calls and texts are possible. There are lots of areas to walk your dog along the river, and the owners are very accommodating and helpful. There is a nice pavilion area to use for gatherings, watching tv, bbq, fireplace etc. Our kids had a great time throwing frisbee and catching crawdads. It is a hidden gem that we will come back to and bring friends.
