GenieSummary

Its located in a peaceful, serene setting, similar to a National Park or Forest Service campground, but having all the modern amenities. Big Pines RV Park is the perfect place for a peaceful and serene camping experience. Located in Central Oregon, it offers a variety of outdoor recreation opportunities and all the modern amenities. Each site is spacious and level with shade trees, a well kept grass area, a barbeque, a clean and sturdy picnic table, and a fire ring. The pull-through sites have full hook-ups with great wifi and cable, and are open for satellite dishes. There are also some odd buildings near the front (some leftovers from the early original days) used as housing, and 3-4 mobile homes. The staff is very hospitable and the grounds are nicely landscaped and inviting for walking. The watering system runs every night, but the sprinkler heads are not adjusted well, so beware of getting your rig wet. There are nearby restaurants and the nearest grocery stores are in La Pine (15 minutes away) or Bend (45 minutes away). Big Pines RV Park is the best commercial campground this summer and a great place to return to year after year.
