What others are saying about this campground
Diamond Lake Campground is the perfect spot for a getaway in the Umpqua National Forest. Located on Diamond Lake, the campground offers stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. There are 238 sites available for camping, ranging from tent sites to pull-through sites for trailers and motorhomes. Facilities include water spigots and drinking fountains, a dump station, bathrooms with flush toilets and power outlets for razors, and a general store nearby. The campground is also close to Crater Lake National Park, Prospect, Pearsoney Falls, and Rogue River Gorge. For those looking for a bit of recreation, there is a loop that goes around the entire lake, perfect for biking, and you can also rent bikes, boats, canoes, kayaks, or paddle boards. During the Fourth of July, they have fireworks over the lake and skiers ski down the mountain with flares in their hands to start the show. The campground also offers a full selection of craft beer and liquor, a big fire place that is lit up in the fall and winter, and a small downstairs bar with a different selection of beer and beverages, all overlooking a lawn with Adirondack chairs. Come prepared with bug repellent, as the mosquitos can be pesky, and Verizon reception is only fair for calls or texts, but not for streaming.
