If youre looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the place. Monty is the perfect spot for a quiet and serene camping experience. The campground is located down a bumpy gravel road and is surrounded by nature and the Metolious River. There are 12 campsites that are spread out and offer plenty of privacy. There is no water, but there is a clean restroom and trash cans. Firewood can be purchased at Perry South, about 4 miles before Monty. There are plenty of activities to do such as fishing, hiking, and exploring. The night sky is full of stars and the Perseid meteor shower can be seen from the campground. The campground is very quiet and peaceful and is a great spot for those looking for a tranquil getaway.
