This campground is situated in a beautiful area and offers close proximity to the Pacific Ocean and the quaint town of Depoe Bay. Unfortunately, the campground has been letting in people with no jobs and allowing them to put tarps over their trailers and fifth wheels, making the park look run down. The office and bath house/laundry room are not clean, the dumpsters are overflowing, and landscaping has not been maintained. The layout is awkward for larger RVs to navigate in and out of sites. The beach access requires a mad dash across a busy highway and then a short walk down a side street to Fishing Rock State Park. The park road is tight for big rigs and at least half of the sites contain park model trailers or RVs that look like they havent moved in years. Reservations can be challenging during peak season.
