What others are saying about this campground
This campground is located on the beautiful west coast of Oregon, just a short half mile walk to the beach. It offers a variety of accommodations, including 41 full-hookup sites, 14 electrical sites with water, seven walk-in tent sites, a hiker/biker camp, two reservable yurts (one pet-friendly), flush toilets and hot showers, and an RV dump station in the day-use area. The sites are spacious and clean, with a good mix of shade and open space. The trail to the beach is a magical ferry forest with amazing beams of light shining through the extra large trees and moss-covered landscape, and the nearby Heceta Head Lighthouse is a great place to explore. The beach is the usual beautiful flat Oregon sand with a roaring surf and a firm surface for running. There is no cell service or TV reception, and the showers could use a thorough clean. However, the campground is a great value, especially for seniors with the 50% discount on camping fees.
