What others are saying about this campground
Jesse M. Honeyman State Park is a great spot for families looking for a weekend away. With its close proximity to the Pacific Ocean, the park offers stunning rock cliffs, drift wood, and tide pools. The campground itself is packed in the summer, so its not the place for peace and quiet, but it offers a variety of amenities such as picnic tables and fire pits, a welcome yurt, a kids playground, access to lakes and dunes, and nature trails. The campground also features hot showers and electrical hookups, although the tent pads can be quite small. Visitors should also be aware of the ATV noise and the lack of lifeguards in the swimming area. Florence is a short drive away and offers specialty gift shops, eateries, and fine dining.

From The Campground
Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park is a year-round park that offers day-use and camping facilities. The park features two lakes with sandy beaches and roped-off swim areas, Cleawox Lake on the west side of HWY 101 and Woahink lake on the east side of HWY 101. The park also has historic features developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps, including stone and log Cleawox Lake bathhouse, park caretaker's house and garage, and several rustic kitchen shelters. Overnight camping facilities were added on the south side of Cleawox Lake beginning in 1952. The park is open for day use year-round and open for camping year-round.
