South Jetty RV & Camping Resort in Florence, OR is a natural, wooded area that offers an intense camping experience. Each space is carved out among the trees and many people put their camp chairs in the road to enjoy some sun. The campground offers an eclectic mix of water, water and sewer, and 30 and 50 amp hookups. Much of the area with sewer had signs for grey water only. The campground features a beautiful pool cut out of the woods to have sunshine. The area is cool year-round but can get quite hot during heat snaps but then goes back to being cool. The town of Florence is nearby and very cute. However, the Verizon network is unusable most of the time even for data on a phone with a large booster. South Jetty RV & Camping Resort is a well-maintained camp with super friendly staff. It is not ideal for a Starlink internet connection, but a few sites have decent coverage. The campground is very close to the dunes and the rangers are as helpful as can be. The roads in the campground are hilly, and sometimes narrow, but manageable for driving while towing a trailer. The campground does not host many planned activities but is lovely with a clean and nicely kept restroom. The sites are carved into the trees, which means the campground has limited sun, but it is beautiful if you like camping in the woods. Many trees around create a natural atmosphere. The campground offers electric and water hookups, and the sites are varied with access, depth, and shade, so you can find whatever youre looking for as long as no one else has already taken that spot. If you visit this campground in the springtime, be prepared for the mud. TMobile has good coverage, and AT&T is the best, but Verizon has poor coverage.
