Hoover Campground is a great spot for families looking for a summer getaway. Located on a tributary of Detroit Lake, the campground offers stunning views and plenty of activities for the whole family. With a boat ramp and docks for fishing and swimming, as well as off-road trails and exploring, youll have plenty to do. The sites are large and private, with plenty of trees for shade, but no electricity or water. The bathrooms are basic and dont have lights or soap, so youll need to bring your own. The campground is busy during the summer months, so if youre looking for solitude, its best to avoid it then. Cell reception is good, so you can still stay connected.
