Detroit Lake Campground is a great spot for camping, offering spacious camping loops with lots of RVs and trailers, as well as tent sites, some of which require a short walk in. The campground is dog friendly and has bathrooms and a portable water pump. It is a stunningly beautiful spot with a peaceful and fun filled atmosphere, and the small private walk in sites offer the best views of the lake. The campground is great for both kids and adults, with plenty of things to do such as swimming, fishing, and motorized boating. There are large fire rings and plenty of shade, and the camp host enforces quiet rules after 10pm. Its a great spot for a family getaway or for the solo camper.
