AT&T was slow, but campground WiFi was good allowing us to stream to our hearts content. Lucky Lodge Campground is a peaceful and scenic spot located right next to the Rogue River. The family that runs the park is friendly and helpful, and they do their best to make sure your stay is enjoyable. The sites offer beautiful views of the river, and you can watch hawks soaring, fish breaking the surface, and wild turkeys crossing the lawn. The only disturbance to the quiet is an occasional jet boat motor. There are waterfront bathrooms and reading rooms, a rec room with an internet connection, a lending library, and a gift shop. Unfortunately, there was a flood more than 10 years ago and the waterfront bathrooms and reading room have a musty odor. The campground also hosts hydroplane boat races on the weekend, which can be noisy and annoying. There is a nice site in the center of the campground with a fire ring, but it is reserved for motorhomes only. The campground WiFi is good, allowing visitors to stream to their hearts content.
