However, the private beach located beneath the highway is easily accessible and well worth the trip, featuring sand, pebble beaches, and nice waves. Adjacent to the park is a river that empties into the Pacific through a sandbar, allowing for kayaking and other water sports. Within the park, guests can enjoy a restaurant and convenient access to a second restaurant across the access road. While some guests experienced issues with trash and noise, the staff is generally helpful and friendly.
