The campground is an excellent base camp for hunters, hikers, or anyone looking for a quiet getaway. The area is popular for fishing Rainbow Trout in the North Fork of the Malheur River. The campground is equipped with extended concrete picnic tables, raised fire rings, compacted dirt and gravel parking areas for tents and camp trailers, and a vault toilet. Visitors should be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions and pack it in/pack it out. The road to the campground is quite rough and becomes very muddy after periods of rain.
