This campground offers a great view and privacy from its terraced hill sites, however it is limited by narrow sites, unreliable internet, an early office closure, expensive laundromat, and lack of seating outside, including picnic tables. Despite these drawbacks, the campground is close to Tom Pearce Park, where visitors can play disc golf and access bike and birding paths along the Rouge River. It is also near Crater Lake National Park, Thundering Waterfalls Scenic Byway, Jacksonville loop, Oregon Caves, and Giant Redwood National Park. The upper dog area is up a steep hill, and there is some rubbish up there, not trash, but bits of broken up concrete, wood pile, brush, stuff like that. The campground does slope, but the use of tiered, concrete level sites with paved roads make it a non-issue.

Moon Mountain RV Resort is a year-round park situated in the beautiful Rogue Valley. We are centrally located to everything the valley has to offer, yet we have the countryside feel of being farther away from a large city. We welcome you to a quiet, friendly place to relax and enjoy the magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. Our park has 50 RV sites with 24 pull-through sites. The sites include full hook-ups, free Wi-Fi, extended cable package, 20/30/50 amp electrical service, and a wonderful view. Our facilities include on-site propane, clean restrooms and showers, full-service laundry, and daily, weekly, and monthly rates. We are located at exit 55, which is 55 miles north of the California Border on Interstate 5. Easy access to and from the freeway for any size RV.
