From The Campground

The Lower Deschutes River Back Country Byway offers a variety of developed recreation sites for day and overnight use, for anyone using a watercraft or any other floating device as a means of transport on the Lower Deschutes River. The byway features several campgrounds, day-use areas, and historic sites, including the Section Foreman's House. Developed facilities along the Byway included accessible amenities such as parking, vault toilets and some paved paths at Macks Canyon Campground.
