GenieSummary
Fish Lake Campground in Halfway, OR is a beautiful and quiet spot to camp with plenty of space. The campground has large sites with a creek nearby. The vault toilets are clean and well-maintained. However, some visitors noted that the campground can get crowded during the weekends and the gnats can be thick, which can be bothersome for some people. The campsite is only accessible through a gravel road with some blind corners and one-lane areas that may be difficult for some drivers. The campground also lacks proper signage to help visitors find the right locations. Autoleveling systems may have issues as some campsites are unlevel. Showers cost coins to use, and the dump station also has a fee of $10, even with a reservation. Despite the challenges, many recommend Fish Lake Campground in Halfway, OR as a great spot to visit.
