The paved road leading to the campground is lightly potholed, but the sites are well worth it. There are several sites located in a pine forest, and some that are situated right by the lake. The lake is great for fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding, and there is a paved trail that circles the lake for walks and hikes. All in all, Umatilla National Forest is a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
