From The Campground
Riverside Campground is a tent-only walk-in campground located near the upper section of the Metolius River. It is located between the Camp Sherman Store and the Head of the Metolius, upstream from the other campgrounds and the town of Camp Sherman. The campground has 16 single sites and offers potable water and vault toilets. The water system will be turned on in the month of May depending on weather conditions and will be turned off no later than September 30, 2023, or upon the campground closing, whichever is earlier to prevent potential damage from cold temperatures. Reservations can be made online through Recreation.gov or by calling toll-free 1-877-444-6777.
