This campground is located in a field by the side of the road and offers level, gravel pull through sites. The new log cabin bathroom has nice showers and a laundry facility, and there are two horses fenced in various areas. Unfortunately, the feces smell from the campground is overwhelming, and there is no escape from the odor in the RV or restroom building. Gunfire from neighbors is also a problem, and the owners son and another person were seen shooting rabbits in the park. Campers dogs can be seen running loose, and permanent campers live in old trailers with a lot of junk lying around. The pool is above ground and looked disgusting when we were there. There is no food shopping within 16 miles, so come prepared. Despite these issues, some people have stayed here multiple times and have never been disappointed.

Elk Haven RV Resort is a premier destination for adventurous travelers. Located 19.5 miles east of Roseburg on scenic Hwy. 138, the picturesque resort is nestled between the foothills and the North Umpqua River. The property is situated on 80 acres with stocked ponds for fishing. Open year round, the natural setting is home to eagles, hawks, osprey, deer, wild turkeys, Canadian geese, herons, numerous species of songbirds, ducks, and of course, elk. The resort offers spacious, full hookup pull-through sites with 50/30/20 amp service, tenting areas, and rustic log restroom/shower/laundry facility. The park acreage provides excellent opportunities to take a stroll around the ponds and play outdoor games. Elk Haven RV Resort is pet-friendly.
