From The Campground

Tipsu Tyee Campground is a small, primitive campground located along the shore of Applegate Lake in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. The campground is accessible only by the Payette Trail #970 or by boat. It features 5 tent-sites with picnic tables and fire pits, a vault toilet, and no drinking water or garbage disposal. Visitors are required to pack out their trash. The campground is operated by the Forest Service and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The maximum length of stay is 14 days. Nearby hiking opportunities include the Applegate Lake Trail System, which also includes the Payette Trail #970. Boating is allowed on the lake with a 10 MPH speed limit.
