The sites are reasonably sized, lined up in a horseshoe behind the hotel with a great view of the mountains. The helpful host/owner and near new picnic tables are highlights. The back-in sites are a bit tough to get into due to the interior road being relatively narrow, but they offer lots of space and a great view of the mountains. Mountain View Motel & RV Park is a unique and affordable lodging option in Joseph, Oregon. The motel offers clean, smoke- and pet-free rooms and suites with full kitchens that are open year-round. The RV campground (May 15 to Oct 15) and tepee camping (June 1 to Oct 15) are pet-free and include a shower house with clean bathrooms. The four-acre landscaped grounds offer spectacular mountain views and are the perfect base camp for adventures and group getaways in Eastern Oregon. Vacationers, families, and outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy outdoor recreation, fun things to do, and events & festivals in Wallowa County. The motel is just two minutes from casual dining, art galleries, specialty boutique shops, shopping, and a market in Joseph and just five minutes from boating, swimming, and hiking at scenic Wallowa Lake -- the gateway to the Eagle Cap Wilderness -- truly Oregon's Little Switzerland.
