From The Campground

Wallowa Lake State Park is a popular destination for anglers, hikers, swimmers, and boaters. The park offers a beach and swim area on Wallowa Lake, and visitors can explore the mountain country and the approaches to the Hells Canyon National Recreation Area on the Snake River. The park is open year-round, with some service changes October through mid-May. There are five site types available for camping, including hookup sites, tent/non-hookup sites, hiker/biker sites, group tent sites, and yurt sites. Pets are welcome at the park, and there is an off-leash area for pets near the marina parking area. Active-duty military on leave, veterans with service-connected disabilities, foster parents of Oregon foster children, and adoptive foster parents are eligible for discounts.
