Richardson Park Campground Lane County Park in Junction City, OR, is a beautiful treed park with plenty of space. It features fully paved, level sites. The campground is located near a lake that offers swimming and water sports. The park is surrounded by farmland and is 10 miles from Eugene. The park features really nicely spaced and shaded sites with fire rings and picnic tables. The bathrooms and showers are clean, and the staff are super friendly. The park offers a quiet and beautiful atmosphere. There is a nice path along the lake, and a boat launch, marina, and swimming beach nearby. Though some sites near the main road were affected by traffic noise, the park is a gem with lots of beautiful trees and shade. Visitors may encounter some spotty cell service, but the park offers 30 and 50-amp service, water, and a dump station. The lake area offers a swimming area, tubing, and fishing. Most campgrounds are staffed by volunteers, who do an excellent job of maintaining the facilities. While the restrooms may be slightly dated with old mirrors and some leaks, they are overall clean. The sites look level, and the marina area is beautiful, although not everyone may be interested in boating.

From The Campground

Richardson Park is the largest developed park in the County Parks system, located in Lane County, Oregon. It offers 88 RV campsites, a large day use area, and three picnic shelters. The park also features an 8,000 square-foot picnic shelter with a full-service outdoor kitchen that can seat up to 300 people. Richardson Park has a 212-slip marina, a swimming area, play structures, game areas, and an outdoor amphitheater. During the open season, showers and the RV dump station services are available to current campground patrons only.
