Sunset Campground at Lake of the Woods in Klamath Falls, OR is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with friendly and helpful hosts. There are approximately 10 first-come, first-serve sites available. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful lake and trails, and even explore on a OneWheel. The campground is quiet at night, and the bathrooms are well-maintained with flush toilets. The lake is just a short walk away where visitors can swim, kayak, paddle board, and fish. There is a nice lakeside trail that leads to a day use area with a resort/marina that has a restaurant, store, pizza, and boat rentals, perfect for family-friendly outings. The campsites are mostly RVs and they allow generators, which can be a downside for some, but there is plenty of firewood laying around for fires. The AT&T service in the area is limited.

Sunset Campground is located in Fremont-Winema National Forest and provides 64 campsites with picnic tables and fire rings. All sites provide RV parking, although there are no hook-ups available. The campground has three renovated restrooms with electric flush toilets, running water, and automatic hand dryers. Nearby, Lake of the Woods Resort offers dining options, boat rentals, and basic supplies. Sunset also has a day use area with a boat ramp, boat trailer parking spaces, and a compact, gravelly beach perfect for swimming. Visitors can enjoy both motorized and non-motorized boating activities, fishing, bike riding, and swimming.
