East Lake Campground is an ideal spot for local camping in Central Oregon. The campground offers beautiful scenery, with plenty of deer visiting the area. The campground is suitable for big rigs, with interior sites and pull-throughs available. However, due to the arid climate, the campground can be a bit dusty, and there is no phone or internet service. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and will help you move your dates if something comes up. However, be aware that they may charge you for a night even if they refund the amount.

East Lake Resort is a full-service facility located on the shores of East Lake in the caldera of Newberry Volcano, offering classic cabins, tent sites, RV sites, and watercraft rentals. The resort is known for its spectacular views of the lake and surrounding area, as well as its hiking and biking trails, water activities, wildlife viewing, and fishing opportunities. The Blue Duck Grill provides a relaxing atmosphere for a pub-style meal, and the on-site general store and tackle shop will take care of your last-minute camping and fishing needs. The gift shop gives guests an opportunity to shop for a unique gift or clothing item. The resort is located in the beautiful caldera of the Newberry Volcanic Monument, with very limited cell service and no access to wifi.
