Pringle Falls Campground is a peaceful and secluded campground located just off of County Road 43, 15 minutes West of La Pine, Oregon. The campground features seven spacious lots, each with ample sunshine for solar power and vault toilets. The campground is situated on the east river bank of the upper Deschutes River, offering a beautiful view of the river below. The nearby meadow has a meandering stream, perfect for playing in or just enjoying the scenery. The campground is conveniently located close to the Newberry Volcanic Monument, High Desert Museum, and Sunriver/Bend, making it an ideal spot for exploring the area. There is also good dog walking in the surrounding woods. Be sure to fill up on water before arriving, as there are no threads on the spigots to attach a hose.

From The Campground

Prairie Campground is a small, rustic campground located in Deschutes National Forest. It offers 17 single campsites with vault toilets and no water. The maximum site spur length is 30 feet. The campground is open from May 26 to September 24, and reservations can be made online or by phone. Holders of a Golden Age and Golden Access Passports and Senior and Access Passes are entitled to a 50% discount on the fee for a single camping unit. The campground is located near the Newberry Caldera and offers camping and hiking opportunities.
