Horse Riding

From The Campground

Swamp Wells Horse Camp is a rustic campground located in Deschutes National Forest. The campground offers 5 single sites for horse camping and provides access to four trails for horse riding, mountain biking, and bicycling. The maximum site spur length is 30 feet and there is no water available on site. The campground features a vault toilet and is open as accessible from April to September. The last mile of the road leading to the campground is rough and may be difficult for larger trailers. Visitors can contact the Bend-Fort Rock Ranger District Office for more information.
