The staff is friendly and helpful, but it is recommended to call ahead for reservations as the main office closes at 1pm. The park has the potential to be a great destination, but it needs some TLC and upgrades. The fire rings have been moved multiple times, leaving deep divots, and there is a lot of clutter at some of the full-time sites.
