Wind Surfing Lagoon is a secluded campground located in a beautiful part of the state. The park is surrounded by trees and bushes that offer stunning views of the lake and ocean. The main loop driveway is narrow and the parking pads are angled, making it difficult to back into a site without leaving the pavement. The RV sites are paved and have 50 amp electricity, water, picnic tables, and fire rings. The park also offers a laundry room with free wifi and very reasonable washers and dryers. The restrooms are older but clean, and there are showers however they were under repair when we were there. The park host lives in an old school bus with junk all around and has bad manners. The park is known for its wind surfing and is very windy most of the time. For $24 for W & E, this is a great deal for a clean, quiet, and lovely place to stay. Reservations should be made in advance as this is a smaller park.

From The Campground

Boice Cope Park is a beautiful campground located in Curry County, OR. The park offers a peaceful and serene environment for campers to enjoy. The park has a main office that is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 12pm and 1pm to 5pm. The park offers free Wi-Fi and laundry facilities for campers. The park also offers windsurfing and kiteboarding lessons, as well as stand-up paddleboard rentals through Floras Lake Windsurfing & Kiteboarding. Fireworks are not allowed within park boundaries. The park has a 14-night maximum stay policy and a non-refundable $10 transaction fee for all reservations.
