Nehalem Bay State Park Campground is a family-friendly campground located just south of Cannon Beach in the town of Manzanita. The park is conveniently located near stores, restaurants, and gas stations, and offers a variety of amenities, including paved parking pads, electric hookups, dump station, hot showers, recycling station, playground, bike riding loop, and a trail to the beach. The beach is a short walk away and offers stunning views of the sand dunes and Pacific Ocean. The park also features a variety of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, as well as an amphitheater for ranger talks and concerts. Reservations are required for the A loop, which is the closest to the beach. The campground is well-maintained and provides a peaceful and beautiful setting for a camping experience.

From The Campground
Nehalem Bay State Park is a year-round campground located in Oregon. The park features 17 individual horse camping sites, 265 campsites, and 18 yurts. Three campsites and all yurts are accessible to campers with disabilities. The park offers ADA accessible restrooms, horseback riding, and pet-friendly campsites. Visitors can enjoy crabbing and clamming around Nehalem Bay. The park is open year-round and accepts reservations up to 6 months in advance. E and F loops are first-come, first-served November 1 - April 30. In 2021, the park received $5-8 million for parkwide electrical repairs and other utility upgrades, and to add about 25 campsites and up to 20 cabins. Some of the cabins will be replacements for aging yurts.
