Fishermens Bend is a scenic campground located in Oregon. It is open from May to late October and offers a variety of activities such as fishing, boating, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball and two softball fields. There are large, paved sites with private picnic areas, electric and sewer connections, and Verizon MiFi, AT&T cell phone and Dish satellite services. The campground also offers an amphitheater with evening programs and planned weekend activities for both kids and adults. Unfortunately, Beaches Fires have devastated the area, so please call your Counties Park and Recreational or Forestry Department to find out if the campground is closed or open. Additionally, the wheelchair accessible site uses loose, deep gravel around the picnic area/table and sites are a few feet from the high-traffic road of the campground loop. Furthermore, it can be a bit noisy due to the road noise at the camp loop pull thru sites. Lastly, there have been reports of strange children playing in sites and next to motorhomes, as well as drunken adults, so it may not be the best place for those looking for a peaceful camping experience.
