On The River Golf & RV Resort in Myrtle Creek, OR is situated in a beautiful location with great views, and guests can enjoy steelhead fishing within walking distance, as well as nice trails nearby. Although the golf course consists of a short 6 holes built by the owner, the grounds are lovely. Guests can listen to and watch the wild turkeys and Stellers jays around the park. The interior roads are paved with fairly narrow spaces suitable for large rigs but totally doable. The sites are gravel and may be un-level in some cases. The park has many long-term and older rigs that are mostly neat but may have accumulated junk. There is no Wi-Fi available, but Verizon 4G gets 2-3 bars in some areas. Satellite is possible in some sites, and guests should be mindful that biting bugs may be around keeping the bees company. The closest shopping is 20-30 minutes away. The park is right on Old Hwy 99 and is quite noisy due to traffic and a nearby forestry products/lumber yard that constantly has tractor trailers running back and forth. Guests should be aware that trains may also cause noise by rumbling and blowing whistles.
