Whether you set out on a trail on horseback, wheels, or your own two feet, state forests offer one-of-a-kind recreation opportunities for all ages and abilities. Developed recreation sites (campgrounds, trails, and OHV facilities) are functioning normally and operating within established seasons. Most trails and designated dispersed camping areas remain open year-round, while developed campgrounds are generally open from mid-May through September.
