Beverly Beach State Park is a great campground with spacious sites and beautiful surroundings. The interior roads can be tight, so be cautious when navigating through trees. Some sites have poor internet connectivity, but T-Mobile cell service has coverage throughout the park. Project Genesis works decently with 71mbs down but only 2mbs up while Starlink has a great signal with 182mbs down and 10.1 up, but can have some obstructions throughout the park. The beach is only a short walk away and the park is well kept and clean.

From The Campground

Beverly Beach State Park is a large creekside campground located between Cape Foulweather and Yaquina Head in Newport, Oregon. The campground offers 53 full-hook up sites, 76 electrical sites with water, 128 tent sites with water nearby, 21 yurts, 3 seasonal group tent camping areas, and a hiker/biker camp. The park is just steps away from miles of ocean beach extending from Yaquina Head to Otter Rock, and is central to excellent whale watching viewpoints, tidepools teeming with sea life, the Oregon Coast Aquarium, and shops and restaurants in Newport. The campground is hidden in a forest of giant, wind-sculpted trees and nurse logs, and is situated along pebbly Spencer Creek. The day-use picnic area is a grassy spot protected from summer winds and contains a reservable group meeting yurt. The campground is open year-round and reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance at oregonstateparks.reserveamerica.com. Three campsites and six yurts are accessible to campers with disabilities. Firewood is available for sale daily, and there is an RV dump station on site. The park is currently undergoing a construction project to upgrade park and campground utilities, funded by general obligation bonds approved by the 2021 Oregon Legislature. The campground and group meeting yurt will be closed from September 5, 2023 to May 25, 2024, with a goal to reopen in spring of 2024. Visitors are advised to buy locally harvested firewood at or near their destination to help contain the highly invasive Emerald Ash Borer insect, which has been sighted in Oregon for the first time.
