Bring plenty of water as there is no potable water onsite. A friendly host from the Nottingham Campground up the road comes by with firewood and is very helpful. This campground is a small, quiet spot located right off of Hwy 35 near Mt. It offers a few walk-up sites and the rest are reservable. The trees and river help muffle the sound of traffic from the highway, but the road noise can still be loud. There is no camp host, but the host from the Nottingham Campground up the road brings firewood and is very helpful. There is no potable water, so visitors should bring plenty of water for their stay. The campground is a great spot for hiking, with the Tamanawas Falls Trail and Lookout Mtn nearby. The sites are primitive, with fire rings and tables, and vault toilets. Parking can be tricky and the campground can fill up quickly. The price is a bit high for what is offered, but the location near the river and trails makes it worth it.
