From The Campground

Big Creek Campground is located in the Malheur National Forest and sits at the edge of beautiful Logan Valley along Big Creek. It is a great starting point for multiple recreation opportunities, including mountain biking, hiking, stream fishing, hunting, bird watching, and exploring the Strawberry Mountain Wilderness. In the spring and early summer, the area is exceptional for wildflower viewing. The campground has 15 single sites, each with extended length picnic tables and packed gravel surfaces leading to the restrooms. Drinking water is available only during warmer months. During the winter months, due to deep snow levels, Big Creek Campground becomes accessible only by snowmobile, ski, or snowshoe. Passenger vehicles cannot reach the area.
