From The Campground

Deerhorn Campground is a small campground located in Malheur National Forest, offering fishing, exploring, nature watching, and hunting opportunities in the Middle Fork John Day River State Scenic Waterway. The campground has 5 single sites, one of which can accommodate a 30' RV. It is busiest during late summer and hunting season. Visitors should be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions and pack it in/pack it out. The campground is first come first serve and fees are $8/night for a single unit and $4/night for an extra vehicle. There is no water available on site, but there is a vault toilet.
