Elk Creek Campground is a small rustic campground located near the North Fork Malheur Wild and Scenic River in Malheur National Forest. It is a popular spot for hunting and stream fishing, and a great area to camp that is easy to reach during the summer months. The campground has 5 single sites and is most popular during big game hunting seasons. Visitors can relax in this beautiful campground set amongst Ponderosa and lodgepole pine trees. In the spring and early summer, visitors have the opportunity to see a wide variety of wildflowers throughout the area.
