Prineville Reservoir Campground is a great destination for families or those looking for a peaceful getaway. The campground is well-maintained and offers plenty of amenities, including a store, restaurant, and clean bathrooms with private showers. There is a double-lane dump station located 2.5 miles down the road at Jasper Point Campground. The beach is close to most of the sites, making it ideal for swimming, boating, and other water activities. There are plenty of deer in the area and the lake is family-friendly. There is also good cell service at Jasper Point Campground. Some sites may be a bit steep, making it difficult to level your rig. The launch is uncrowded but may be difficult for those with disabilities or elderly to access. US Cellular service is available but spotty.
