From The Campground
White Rock Campground is a free, first-come, first-served facility located in the southeast edge of Mill Creek Wilderness, within the Ochoco National Forest & Crooked River National Grassland. The campground is hidden deep within a dense ponderosa pine forest, making it the perfect place to have your own forest adventure. The final mile into the campground is a rough section of road, so high-clearance 4WD vehicles are recommended. There are 3 campsites of various sizes located in this campground, each with room for tent camping, a picnic table, and a fire pit/grill. Only one of the campsites could accommodate a recreational vehicle or trailer though. There is a 14-day stay limit on all National Grassland and US Forest Service land including but not limited to campgrounds and other developed facilities.
