What others are saying about this campground
Farewell Bend Campground in Prospect, OR is a USFS campground that is one of the finest in the area. The campsites are nicely spaced and have access to potable water, flush toilets, and showers. Although there is no electricity available, the camp area is great for tent camping. There are two pit toilets, a warming cabin, a big fireplace, and two small trash bins available on site. Permits are required between November 1 and April 30, and fees range from $4 for one day to $25 for a year. The campground is near the rogue river and features beautiful natural scenery. There is no cell service in this area, but it is just a short drive to Prospect where cell service is available. The location of the campground makes it convenient to visit Crater Lake National Park, Diamond Lake and other neighboring areas for fishing. All in all, this campground is loved by many for its privacy, access to the river, and convenient location to nearby attractions.
