Located right off of I-5, Douglas County Fairgrounds RV Park in Roseburg, OR is a good option for a stopover or basecamp. The gravel sites come with water and electric hookups, and there is a park-wide dump station for septic. While the grass between sites can be brown due to drought, there are still a few nice trees in the area. The fairground offers plenty of space to walk your dog in the big field just west of the RV park. The restrooms are clean and have typical fairground showers. Though there can be highway noise, the park is still relatively quiet. The friendly host makes for a great stay.
