This campground is a county park with no age restrictions. It is surrounded by tall trees providing lots of shade and a playground for the kids. It is located near a small aviation center, so there is some noise from the planes taking off and landing throughout the day. There is also a bark dust plant nearby, which can cause some odor. The campground is in disrepair, with picnic tables that cant be used and mole holes in the grounds. There have been reports of rats the size of small dogs with tails a foot long near the bathrooms. The Park Hosts have been reported to be extremely rude and harassing to campers. The bathrooms have been recently remodeled, and the summer camp host is friendly and accommodating. Despite these issues, the campground is still a nice park and many people would stay again.

From The Campground
Scappoose RV Park is a small area located a mile off of Highway 30 and two miles from downtown Scappoose. It is right next to the Scappoose municipal airport and offers visitors close up views of private aircraft taking off and landing. Although this park is next to the airport, never fear it is still cozy and quiet at night. This campground is pet-friendly and not only has 6 R.V. spots but tent and bicycle campsites too. Additionally, there are hot showers, drinking water, restrooms, parking and dumping stations available. Aside from these basic necessities, there are also picnic areas, a play structure, and horseshoe pits for those fun summer evenings after a long day of enjoying the sites of the airport. Have an event that you want to host at this little wooded park? You're in luck because this park is available for events and weddings too! So fly, drive, bike, or walk in and have a charming stay at the park!There is no long term camping at any of the County parks, 7 day stay maximum.
