Osprey Campground is a secluded and peaceful spot for nature lovers. Situated around Lake Selmac, the campground features tall evergreen trees and a mature forest, providing plenty of shade and privacy. The Mallard loop offers full hookups and longer sites, although streaming and surfing are generally impossible due to the tall trees. The campground is generally used by those who enjoy fishing, and kayaking and paddle boarding are also popular activities. The campground is also home to wild turkeys and offers yurt camping for families. The narrow roads are not suitable for large RVs, and the campground can become crowded on weekends, but the camp host is helpful and proactive. AT&T and Verizon service is available, but the signal is weak. There is no check in station and no OTA channels. Pine needles can be an issue, but the sites are well spaced and the scenery is simply beautiful.
