Shady Cove RV Park is a lovely and quiet campground located directly on the banks of the Rogue River. The staff are friendly and the maintenance team is considerate of campers, especially when they are using the pavilion. The pavilion is clean and spacious and is a great place to spend time in the fall months, although it may be too cold in the winter. There are plenty of opportunities for fishing and rafting in the river, and visitors may spot fly fishermen in the area. The Premium sites are set in a shady and green area, with a level, gravel, FHU, pull-through and an unobstructed view of the river. The sites come with a large patio pad and picnic table, and are spaced far enough apart to provide privacy. The campground also features a boat launch ramp, horseshoe pits, a BBQ pavilion, and a boardwalk. Unfortunately, the WiFi is not great and Verizon hot spot didnt work very well. There is also a lot of geese poop in the grass area. Despite these drawbacks, Shady Cove RV Park is a beautiful place to stay with a gorgeous river view, friendly office staff, and close proximity to Crater Lake National Park.
