Fall River Campground in Sunriver, OR is a peaceful and beautiful destination that offers many wooded sites near the creek. The sites cost $15 per night with a $5 charge for extra vehicles. This camp is a fly fishermans dream as it is just off the bank of the Fall River where one can find trout. The walk from camp to the river is just 75 feet. Its amazing to hear the sound of the water trickling all night and the silence of a secluded camp. The fire pits are steel and put off a lot of heat, while the toilets do not flush and theres no running water in the sites. The host is a true hero, very funny, and able to help you get squared away in another site and avoid conflicts in case of reservation issues. Visitors can enjoy hiking trails and a beautiful camp site with great spots for tents and hammocks. However, there is generally garbage left behind so its best to bring an extra bag and pack it out with you. Fall River Campground is not located in Colorado as some reviews mention; its only an hours drive from Denver.

Fall River Campground is a small local campground located next to Fall River, making it an excellent place for a family outing or someone who would like to drift on the river. The main draw here is the fact that there is almost always an empty site, the price is low, and you can usually find some isolation in this woody area. The campground has 12 single campsites with vault toilets, but no drinking water. The Fall River Trail leaves from the campground and follows the river. The campground is open from May 12, 2023, to October 22, 2023.
