Big Spruce Campground is a friendly and affordable campground located in Netarts, Oregon, just six miles west of Tillamook. It offers 20+ RV sites in front and 18 mobile homes in the back, all equipped with full hookups. The campground is right on US HWY 101 across the street from Netarts Bay, making it a great base to explore the Oregon coast. It is a great spot for crabbing and fishing, with boats, crabbing, and clamming equipment available for rental. The cost is very reasonable, with a Passport America discount of $13 per night. The WiFi and cable TV hookups work well, and there is a small laundry room. The owner/manager is friendly and helpful, and the other campers are also friendly. The park is tight, so it is best for smaller rigs, and it is best to unhook any towed vehicles before entering the park. There is a rodent problem near the cleaning station and trash cans, but the staff is actively laying out poison. There is very little place to walk dogs, unless you cross the street and go to the boat dock area.
