This campground is a hidden gem nestled in nature with plenty of activities to keep you and your family entertained. With its secluded and private spots, you can enjoy a peaceful and relaxing stay. The lake is perfect for swimming, canoeing, and paddle boarding, and the hikes around the lake and campground are gorgeous. The campground is dog friendly and has plenty of shaded areas, beautiful flowers, and picnic tables with fire rings. Be sure to bring bug spray or citronella candles to keep away the mosquitos. Unfortunately, the campground is currently closed due to a beetle infestation and will not open until July 30th of 2021. However, once it is open, it is definitely worth the long drive to get there.
