GenieSummary
This campground is the perfect spot for a one or two night stay. It is located off of Highway 20, about 15 minutes away from Vale, and is easily accessible via a tar road from Willow Creek. The campsites are spacious, with plenty of grass and trees for privacy. They are also reasonably level and have 50/30 amp electric service, but no sewer or water. The campground is pet friendly and has lots of walking areas, making it great for those with dogs. There is a dump station available for free for paying campers, and the park is on a reservoir, although the water level is currently low due to a drought. The facilities are clean, and the camp hosts are friendly and organized. Although there is no Verizon service or Wifi, cellular service is slowly starting to creep in. There are lots of birds in the area, and the nights are beautiful and cool. Be aware that there is a high level of arsenic in the drinking water, so it is not safe to drink.
