The owners are very friendly and helpful, and there is a clean path to the river for morning and evening revellry. There is a small park-like area with wildlife along the waterfront, and it is a great base camp for exploring the central Oregon coast. The park is well maintained, with separate driveways for RV and car. Cell service is supported by the local phone company, but may be slow at times. Chinook RV Park is also nearby and offers large sites, two gravel areas and a walkable distance to the ocean. Waldport has a little to offer, however this campground is a great place to stay for relaxation, fishing and crabbing.

From The Campground

Rovers RV Park is a small, peaceful, safe and very pet-friendly campground located on the Alsea Bay and River. The park is a long-term (30+ days) only park and accepts long-term guests year-round on a very select case-by-case basis. The sites are large with plenty of space to enjoy the long summer evenings. The park has a large communal greenspace and fire pit area. Rovers RV Park actively encourages recycling and strives to be as green as possible with the campers' help. The park is located just 3.3 miles from Hwy 101 and the spectacular ocean beaches where you can whale-watch, hunt for agates, beachcomb for treasures or just walk for miles with your dog. The Port of Waldport has a public boat launch and a public crabbing dock, with pots and boats available to rent from local businesses. Rovers RV Park is a great location for touring the Central Coast – Yachats and Florence to our south, Newport, Depoe Bay and Lincoln City to our north.
